There is no Mass today until sundown. We continue to wait and pray and ponder. On this day, we should take several moments to rest in the tomb with our Lord. If we have had a good Lent, then we have died to harsh words, quick temper, selfish behavior, cigarettes, alcohol, or whatever. Let this time be a time to mourn what we were, before we rejoice in what we’ve become. Stay quiet with Jesus, be grateful for the trials we’ve overcome with his help, be grateful for his unfathomable love. Rest with him until we celebrate tonight.
