Tuesday of Holy Week April 15, 2025
John 13:36-38: Peter is warned that he will deny Jesus three times before morning. Standing up in the face of peer pressure/intimidation/persecution is difficult. We see scare tactics employed to silence dissenters, family members targeted to frighten those who speak the truth or publicly disagree, and threats of retribution by those in power. I may be targeted for this season of blogs critical of governmental policies. Peter bowed to pressure but was forgiven. Pray for strength to always speak and stand up for the truth.
