Tuesday Week 1 of Lent March 11, 2025
Isaiah 55:10-11 Isaiah says the Lord sends out snow and does not recall it until it has done what He intended. “Poor man’s manure” is a farming name for snow. Ever think of yourself as manure—fertilizing, bringing life, giving nourishment! Yes, the rain and snow fall upon the earth and are not brought back until they have done the job for which they were sent. So, we are snow. When called a “snowflake” just say thank you, because it means you actually care. Then continue snowing on the world. Maybe together we can bring about a blizzard of care to cover up the hate. Be poor man’s manure—give life and nourishment.
