“Into your hands, I commend my spirit.” Ps 31 It takes great trust to utter these words! Great faith, too. I know that I forget that my life is in God’s hands. My life is only a temporary gift given to me by God, and can be called back at anytime. Still, there are times when I can’t say I feel that trust and faith. I find myself worrying. I act as though this life is mine, not a gift to be used wisely and fully, which is my gift back to God. My prayer today is for a deeper faith so I can trust that I do truly live in the strong caring hands of the Lord.
