John: “The truth will set you free,” says the author of John’s Gospel. But what is truth? Would we know it if we saw or heard it? We, all too often, live in our own little silos, divided into ‘them verses us’. ‘We know the truth, they don’t.’ Be Careful.! Information can be and often is slightly twisted to serve a prepose. Turn off Fox, and MSNBC. Go to trusted new sources like NPR and PBS News Hour who must tell the truth because they are taxpayer funded for the time being anyway. Do not engage in, listen to, or repeat gossip. It is usually not the whole truth. Be an informed consumer of information—free of bias.
