Overview
As in years past, I hope to enrich my Lent by pondering the scriptural readings daily and Sunday for Mass. I am hoping to find something new in them. I am going to strive to forget all the homilies and meditations and books I’ve read so I can view these readings with fresh eyes that may lead to novel takes on what God wants me to know about God’s self, God’s unfathomable love for me and all creation, and finally about myself—who I am, what I am being called to do, and how I can be more open to God’s will. Tall order for me, but I have the feeling that if I achieve only a bit of this, my Easter will be glorious. So, I invite you, my readers, to embark on this journey to Easter with me. My goal is to post a thought every day during Lent, Holy Week, and the Triduum. So, get your walking shoes out, we are off to find God.
