Where did she get the faith to trust that everything Gabriel promised would work out alright? She, a young unwed girl, was going to have a baby who was going to be pretty special, yet she was given no idea how this would work out! She must have wondered what her parents, the neighbors, and Joseph would think! How did she explain it to them? Did they believe her? Do I have such trust?
Prayer: O God, when faced with a task, or situation, diagnosis, that seems greater than I can handle, give me the courage, strength, and faith to know in the depths of my heart, that you are always beside me. Help me to understand you will never ask more of me than what I can do if I keep faith.
