The quiet resting of Friday continues today until the great Easter Vigil https://bible.usccb.org/readings/calendar. I cannot tell you how ardently I hope you will attend the Vigil Mass. This is the best liturgy of the entire year, with its walk though Salvation History via many readings, the blessing of the new fire and singing the Exsultet, and the Baptisms and Confirmations if your parish is lucky enough to have RCIA folks this year. And the reading of the resurrection story. Why would anyone stay home when there is so much beauty and joy all in one liturgy? I can offer no pithy thought for today because it is impossible to distill today down into a few sentences. Just go to the Vigil and I guarantee you will never want to miss it. Photo by Freepic
