Today is cold and snowy. It is Lake Effect snow. The wind is blowing. We had freezing rain over night. It is days like this that make it hard to believe that winter will ever pack it bag for an exit stage right. The older I get, the longer winter seems. Yes, yes, I know the snow falling in big flakes is pretty to watch, but I have a 66 foot driveway to clear. Well, be that as it may. On days like this, when my garden is under snow, the promise of spring is hard to find, I go into my archive of pictures. There I find proof positive that spring will come again. Today I found this one of me last spring smelling lilacs on Cornell’s campus. It is my booster shot. I share it with you in case you need one too while waiting for spring. Enjoy!!
