The Triduum begins today. Triduum means three days: Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. These days mark the high point of our Christian calendar and bring us to the biggest feast day of all—Easter. Without Easter, well, without Easter there would be no Christians, no Christmas, no anything we recognize as Christianity. We would not care about a man who was killed and stayed dead. We would still be looking for the Messiah. These days are filled with symbols, deep grief, introspection, and unbounded joy. Please do yourself a favor and attend all the opportunities your worshipping community offers during these special days.
