Monday November 29, 2021 Jesse Tree-Adam and Eve. Isaiah 2:1-5
We are invited to come to the Heavenly Jerusalem—the new Paradise. The way was temporarily lost, but a promise was made at the time of that loss, and now we rejoice as we go up the Lord’s Mountain. That promise to our ancestors articulated in Scripture and by the prophets has been fulfilled in Jesus Christ. “O necessary sin of Adam that won for us so great a Redeemer!” So, today we hang an ornament on the Jesse Tree symbolizing Adam and Eve. Now, we await the Second Coming of Christ, the last judgement when peace will reign, and death shall be no more. “Let us climb…” Together we will get there. Throw away weapons of war and open your hand in friendship as we travel to the new Jerusalem.
