Monday Week 4 of Lent March 31, 2025
Isaiah the prophet foretells a time when all will be new—no weeping, no sickness, shelter and food aplenty. Can we even imagine that? We have, or had, the capacity to make it a reality. In a country like ours, there is no reason (other than pure greed) for anyone to be homeless or hungry. It is up to us to improve the lives of others. How? Catholic Charities, Catholic Relief Services, Red Cross, local food banks, Habitat for Humanity, grow an extra row in your garden for a soup kitchen. You know how! Make things new!
