Tuesday December 21, 2021 Jesse Tree- Elizabeth Luke 1:39-45
Today we put up a symbol for Elizabeth on the Jesse Tree. Our Gospel is the story of Mary visiting Elizabeth and of her joyous greeting to Mary. Elizabeth’s joy at meeting the mother of our Savior is so overwhelming that her unborn baby can feel it and leaps for joy, too. These two women have been selected by God to advance his plan for the salvation of the world, and they are delighted. How delighted are we to participate in God’s plan for the coming of his kingdom? Is our joy so overwhelming that it is contagious? Can others feel and see by our lives that we are thrilled to be God’s helper? Show your joy! Dance and sing! Bring God to others! Share your joy!
